Hi,
You are thinking along the right lines.  You can take more material off the 
hubface of the wheel to move it inward.  

But the one thing to look at is the depth of the lug bolt holes.  You need to 
measure the depth of these also.

Let's say you take a standard lug bolt.  If you increase or decrease the 
offset of the same wheel, you would need to change the depth of the lug bolt hole 
at the same time, in order to use the same lub bolt.  

If you take 3mm of the hub face of the wheel, this will decrease the lub bolt 
depth by the same amount.  Will the bolt area of the wheel have enough 
material left to safely hold the wheel on the car?  Measure the bolt depth and see 
if they are the same on the ET32 and ET35 wheels.  You may get lucky, and the 
ET32 wheel will also have 3mm more area in depth for the lug bolts.
