S-listers,
As I near the bottom of the hill on my most recent trip down the
slippery slope, I'm thinking of adding an oil pressure gauge to my 95.5
S6. Still haven't figured out why Audi thought a voltage gauge was more
important than an oil pressure gauge. From looking at the Bentley, and
under the hood, it looks like all I may have to do is remove the plug on
the engine block meant for the missing stock sender, and install a new
one. Any BTDT on adding an oil pressure gauge to a later model s-car?
Also wondering how accurate the stock oil temperature gauge really is?
On a similar subject, is there any special about the braided lines for
the oil cooler? After getting prices to replace the hoses, I'm now
thinking of having new lines made, and installing a larger oil cooler at
the same time. Anybody know what size the fittings are for the stock
lines?
Thanks,
Marty, missing the oil pressure gauge like in my old V8Q, Herrick
