I've been working with Tom Mullane to develop a prototype for a homebrew
FMIC setup using inexpensive components through ebay and the usual toy
stores (summit racing, Napa, etc).

I'm a little tired to explain too many details so I'll just post pictures
for now.  That should be enough to start the salivating..:

We couldn't really beat on the prototype tonight because it is currently
running on some Home Cheapot toilet hose on one of the outlets just
waiting to go boom...  so more before/after comments after we install the
proper interconnects!
