Most likely your sound problem is coming from the timing belt cover rubbing against the serp. belt tensioner.  Start the car and look down at the tensioner, you should be able to see the cover touching, if so, turn the car off and try and push the cover back into position.  If you cant dont worry about it, the noise will go awway as the tensioner pully wears a groove into the cover.  Good luck.
