Thank's Bill.. but nah, I mean it can't be...could it? no other signs of ignition switch failure, and I just can't see how the ignition switch would affect the partial display on the LCD of the HVAC... although I can't dispute the BTDT factor, but it seems to good or weird to be true. It's a UrS4 BTW, I thought the ignition switch problem was indigenous to the UrS6?
 
It seems to be only the lower 1 or 2 segments of the number display that are flaky or intermittent, the rest are solid ! can the ignition switch cause this?

..WRT haunted HVAC display... if you haven't already... RUN don't walk and change your ignition switch.  If that fails it is almost sure to take out you starter too and a $35 repair bill becomes $150+:(

The haunted display, oddly enough, is a symptom of this.  BTDT

 

AND now that the pig has the viaggra enhanced FMIC plumbing, my glowing red Samco xover / MM hose will be toted to s stock for sale.  It is about 2 years old and perfect with two metal rings.  I've always thought it a tad short, but held nicely with very tight clamps and had only blown off once in two years.   I'll also bring the X over pipe along too.
