[s-cars] sfested

When I saw the 50ish car lane waiting at the I91 custom, I took the exit
just before and crossed the border in the small village of Derby where the
custom officer was almost asleep. It was a funny experience:
The custom officer: "Any thing to declare"
Me: "Used parts for my car"
The custom officer: "Parts?"
Me: "Bumper grille and rubber hoses"
The custom officer: "Uh?"
Me: "An used bumper grille and some used intake hoses"
The custom officer: "What?"
Me: "A three pieces used bumper grille from an urS and an incomplete set of
reinforced Samco hoses"
The custom officer "Ah, OK. Welcome back to Quebec" without even asking what
they're worth. And it's not even because of my accent, we were speaking
french.
Vincent.

Wow, I got to Lewiston in 6 Hours, and no slow down across Canadian customs.
Now the line to the 'Merican side look about 20 miles backed up. Now that
would suck. Ofcourse it rained thru Burlington and Oakville Ontario, which
ofcourse lead to a 3-4 lane wide backup god knows how long... Canadians seem
to be able to drive in the snow, but not the rain. Go figure.
