[s-cars] RF door latch sticking

Paul,

If his drawing doesn't help you, then you might want to know what was
wrong with mine.

The latch assembly has a spring inside it that does the latching.
It gets corrodded and gummed up. Remove teh actual latch assembly from
inside your door and soak it in transmission fluid.

Yes that's right, soak it in transmission fluid. I had this problem
with the driver's side latch on both of our 93 S4's. The fluid will
clean up and lubricate the latch, but it might take an overnight
soaking, in addition it helps if you activate the latch assembly by
pulling on the cable a few times every hour or so.
