Second on the SJM. Support the guy who's indirectly fixed all of our
cars.

Let me take the this opportunity to plug www.sjmauto.com . It's a small

operation, and Scott, the owner, maintains a really good Audi
troubleshooting section on his web site, and I like to support this. He

owns several Audis that are slightly older than ours, but the info on
his
web site addresses many of our chronic problems. He's worked on S-cars
a
lot and is very knowledgeable about them. I've found his prices to be
at
least as good as everybody else's, often better.

Good luck on the tail lens. When I bought one a few years ago I found a
new
unit for less than I could find a "recycled" one.

There are really a lot of suppliers for parts. Most of them use the
World
Pac database and offer the same selection of parts, but at different
prices.
SJM can souce almost any part even if it's not in World Pac. Just
search
for phrases like "Audi parts" and you'll get lots of hits to choose
from.
