Agreed on all of this.  I would also recommend calling if ordering parts.
Scott has a wealth of knowledge with which he is VERY generous.  If you're
unsure of which part you require, he can hook you up with the right stuff,
including suggesting hardware, gaskets, and other items you may not be aware
that you will also need for the job at hand.

I have used the web site countless times, and I have ordered many parts from
Scott.  He is an invaluable member of the Audi I5 community.

Let me take the this opportunity to plug www.sjmauto.com .  It's a small

operation, and Scott, the owner, maintains a really good Audi 
troubleshooting section on his web site, and I like to support this.  He

owns several Audis that are slightly older than ours, but the info on his 
web site addresses many of our chronic problems.  He's worked on S-cars a 
lot and is very knowledgeable about them.   I've found his prices to be
at 
least as good as everybody else's, often better.

Good luck on the tail lens.  When I bought one a few years ago I found a new

unit for less than I could find a "recycled" one.

There are really a lot of suppliers for parts.  Most of them use the World 
Pac database and offer the same selection of parts, but at different prices.

SJM can souce almost any part even if it's not in World Pac.  Just search 
for phrases like "Audi parts" and you'll get lots of hits to choose from.
