for people in CA, smog inspections might be an issue too.
a katech C5R 7 liter V8 would be an interesting upgrade for a CTS-V. you
might want to wait and see if the CTS-V plus goes to production. that
car was spied testing at the nurburgring and is rumored to have 500 hp
and an LS7 (the upcoming C6 Z06 engine).
i wonder if audi is going to be doing any more in the power department.
i read somewhere that audi was going to try to make its cars lighter, not
more powerful.

some people have complained of wheel hop under hard acceleration. i
didn't notice that behavior in the CTS-V i drove.
