My plan is to get a rear-drive American V-8 one of these days as well
as a newer AWD German car- probably Audi.

If they made the A6 3.0 Avant in a manual, I'd seriously look at one.
I guess I'll have to look at A4 Avants or allroads for a manual. If I
have to make that much effort, though, a Roush'd Explorer sounds
really tempting.

The R32 sounds AWESOME. That's about all I can say about the R32.
