[s-cars] Hydraulic pump to Accumulator high pressure hose

Fear not!  A couple people on the list have had a new hose made quite
cheaply.  I'm sure they will chime in.  I believe it involves brazing
your old fitting on to a new hose.

Can someone please enlighten me with the unique characteristics of this 
hose 4A0 612 065 that the Audi Dealer is quoting at $586.40 list?  I
understand the difficulty rebuilding the pump to steering rack high 
pressure hose, but what is so unique about the pump to accumulator 
hose?   Alternatively, does anyone know of a more reasonable source or 
have a hose I could have rebuilt?  I'm looking at quantity here, at 
least two. ;-)
