Anyone want to chime in on where to get decent seat covers for our cars?

Kevin,

I recently had a local upholstery shop replace the bolster covers on
the driver seat outside and have regretted it every day. My seats were

not badly worn, just slightly scuffed and the upper bolster was soft in

one place. I just wanted the original condition back. I knew the
refinish (paint job) would not last so I let them sell me a repair.
First, the seats are incredibly complicated to remove, repair, and
reinstall. Secondly, they did a lousy job that I don't think I can
reverse.
The ACNA classifieds have a sport seat cover bottom for sale for the
4.2 A6. Perhaps they are available for this model, although expensive.
I also thought perhaps the newer sport seats might fit from the 2.7T or

4.2 A6 with sport option. Haven't got any further than that yet, but I

am definitely interested in something to reverse my idiot move. Of
course, the newer seats don't come in ecru, so some change would have
to be worked out there.
