[s-cars] RS2 Injectors

Adam,

If the Porsche injectors actually are the RS2 injectors then $36 each is a
fantastic price. I do not know if they are the same injectors or not. If
they are then go for it. If they aren't then I'd recommend that you go
with the Lucas 37#/hr (@ ~ $40 each) injectors you mentioned. These
injectors are not identical to the RS2 injectors. In fact, under identical
conditions the Lucas injectors actually flow higher than the RS2 injectors
do. This difference in flow rates, however, is something which can be
controlled and made use of with proper software. You can use either
injector equally successfully. All that is required is to select the
proper software to match the injectors.

I am informed that the OEM MAF and the RS2 MAF are identical in performance
and that software which will work with one will work exactly the same with
the other. This then presents the question, "Why spend the money on the
RS2 MAF?"
