[s-cars] Lifter noise

And for those that want super quiet lifters again? Replace them! That's
right, just replace the suckers. Mine were pretty noisy only at startup and
I tried a few of the snake oils to no avail. I think I paid about $6 a
lifter from Carlson Audi in CA 4 years ago. Not terribly difficult a job,
especially since I had to replace the valve cover gasket anyway. Haven't
heard a click, cold or hot for years now.
