I know Keith M. has been there, but with other vehicles. Interesting part of the story was that there is a picture (probably a file photo) of a silver Ur-S4 in the middle of a corner in front of a yellow Mitsu Evo; probably just passed that car :) Is the owner a lister? There is a clear picture of the front plate, but I do not know if it is kosher to post that info to the web.
It's pretty safe to say that if you drive your car on the ring and it
is a nice looking car, your picture will get taken by many people,
lots of whom post galleries on the web nearly every weekend.
So as a result, you can post the picture without too much worries
that you won't be the first person to show that car's license plate on
the web - plus too if its in print in a magazine, it's pretty much
"out there"
If you don't want to post it, email me the plate info including
country, I know a lot of people in the ring community and can try to
track it down.
UrS's are fairly rare at the Ring as they are so heavy, but there are
some to be seen once in a while, the ones I can remember seeing had
French and British plates.
Cheers,
Keith
BTW - I'd be suprised if the UrS had passed the Evo on the ring ! :-P
But then again anything goes at the Ring, there are drivers of all
sorts of skill levels and intelligence levels, not to mention various
degrees of course familiarity which makes a huge difference - if I had
a nickel for every Porsche 996 I passed while driving a 89 Mk2 Golf
GTI, I'd be rich :)
