[s-cars] Big Brakes (there is always something)

So my mechanic (Dad) called in sick to do my brakes. I had every intention of doing them but he was bored, God bless him. Any way he calls me to say that there is problem with the lines sent with the brakes he does not see how they can be connected with the ball-groove. Does anyone quickly remember if there was anything special about the lines being connected. Vendor is closed now so I have to hope they are opened in the morning and then overnight parts needed if any for Monday. Pretty much I know nothing can be done now but just checking if there was any thing funny with the upgrade? It is plug and play right?
