[s-cars] CO rich in S-cars!

Oh, you poor deprived S-folks! I'll chime in for the CO contingent. The
reason no one here wants to comment is that we just simply have too many
still running around:-) Seeing one on a daily basis is like you guys seeing
an A4 cruising by. Ok, not nearly that prevalent but on any given day, if I
actually go into Boulder proper, I'm guaranteed to see at least 4 driving
around. Hell, at today's last minute S-car lunch meet in Broomfield(between
Denver and Boulder), we had no less than 10 S-car drivers with a couple of
no-shows. I don't know if Audi dealerships ever had 10 S-cars on their lot
at one time in 1992-95!

Here's the real puzzler. I have seen a super clean, late model gold S6/black
leather in the Boulder area. I looked over this car trying to find evidence
of a repaint but from all indications, it looks factory. Any chance you
could special order this color? By gold I mean the same metallic gold that
some early '97,'98,'99 A4's came in and not Melange. Think Bamboo '91 200q
type of color but a bit deeper from what I can tell. Not my favorite color
but clean. And how about this, a lago blue/black leather '92 S4(steel roof)
It looks showroom fresh too! Another custom factory order? I need to take
pictures of these cars next time they're parked and send them to the gallery
section of both S-cars.org and Kranz.ca  Seen a few europa avants, cashmere
avants and sedans in the last few months too. CO is where it's at boys!

Sorry to rub it in!! Taka, I'll keep an eye out for your dearly departed
'91.
