[s-cars] NAC Xfire ESP

Folks

My poor mother in law in her cool Daimler Xfire got stranded in the last
snow storm.

Apparently the ESP (traction control) freaked out and the car would run
but not move.

I think snow & ice sent the ESP software into the "if there's no
traction at either wheel, don't send traction to either wheel"
subroutine? 

Anywaze the car sits at the stealer awaiting solution to a problem that
now cannot be duplicated, so I thought the list genuisness might help
analyze this?

Mother in law is now afraid to drive it and would/will probably trade it
in on something.  (Quattro maybe;)
