[s-cars] '92 S4 - hunting for a few parts! (Relay, trim, &washer resevoir)

Nick,

I have the "central locking going bonkers" issue as well. Blew a pump last
year but was replaced with a used one I picked up from a guy who ws breaking
a A6. Only happens when car is warming up from cold to warm. Doesn't happen
in summer months or dead of winter.

So, just this morning I was doing some trouble shooting. I have removed the
relay for the ulra-sound sensors for the interior motion detection system.
This is relay J381 or position 4 in the relay panel under the knee bolster.
Don't know if if fixes the problem yet. Note this is the same relay as used
for the horn (relay 2 on same panel) and could swap them around. I have just
removed relay as I use my horn - eastern Ontario drivers are bad! Central
locking and alarm still work.

Will keep you posted.

Tony
