If you aren't doing 4,000 rpm 1st gear clutch drops, it is fine.  The Spec II clutch I have happily does 6,000 rpm clutch drops.  It grabs like a hobo on a ham sandwich.

I'm not sure.  I do know for a fact (schrapneled K24) that it isn't a good idea to do it the other way around.

Depends on your definition of slippery.  I've got an RS6 contender (probably not as fast, but close) for about $20K vs. $80K.  An RS2 equipped S4 will blow a chipped Neu-S4 off the road.  Not sure where the Neu-S4 takes over (somewhere in the RS4 range probably), but I bet it is WAY over the entry price of the RS2 UrS4, car and mods considered.
