Not accurate, they work very well together.

No you don't. I have the list of parts I posted under UrS6 Avus rims. Works great!!

I have no idea, as I have no exeriance with the 996 calipers. I can't imagine the 993TT's flexing, but at the same time, I haven't tracked the car, so YMMV. I bought them to overcome the brake feel issues and heating issues, esp. on mountain roads. I wanted a more or less stock solution, so the RS2 caliper brackets appealed to me, plus they fit under the stock S6 16" Avus. Mission accomplished...
