Dear S-Heads,
Just a little thank you for all your support and words
of kindness for my wellbeing. I've had a few
reflective moments since that day and this last
weekend was no exception. To be at one of the greatest
racetracks in the world (Laguna Seca Raceway)without
my pal was pretty crappy but there was so much well
wishing and comraderie that it really says something
about the relationships we've formed over the years.
Yes, I was reduced to a mere trackwhore but I got to
drive, hmm let's see, a 300hp 4000, Dean Treadway's
RS2 coupe, an RS6, an S4 Avant mit Stasis, a Jeff
Zwart Valvoline 993TT Pikes Peak winner (430 at the
wheels), an URS6 Avant (yes I tried to buy it!!!),
and several URS4's in varying levels of trim.
Man, what a therapy session..... Good to be back on it
and in search of the recipient for Edwin's motor.
Again, THANK YOU ALL.
