Fred,

I think there is something more than just "gradually backing out" to
explain the loose plug issue. One used set have stayed at least 40Kmiles
on my car without retorquing. Besides, Mark, I would also rule out Audi
Gods as there is one who is dedicated to keep my car in trouble and the
plugs stay tight anyway.
