No, I was not aware of the recall. I'm trying to fix a friend's car and 
it appears to be the switch.  Symptoms are chattering starter solenoid 
and starter will not engage.  I will test starter first by jumping the 
terminals to see if it will engage with a remote starter button.  Thanks 
very much for the heads-up and I will check with the local dealer.  Also 
thanks to all others who responded.
