[s-cars] Idea: Survey to nail down build dates and feature changes

S-gruppees: We all know that there are differences between the S4s and
the S6s.  We also all know that some features of the S4 were carried
over into the S6, at least until Hans unt Claus ran out of the S4 parts,
e.g. four spoke steering wheels, gauges without chrome rings, five spoke
wheels, etc.  The problem is there is such a mish-mash of features, its
tough to know whether its correct or not for a given S-car.

There are also quirks within model years. For example, if I know a "92"
spec car is an April to June 92 build date, I can almost guarantee that
it has both the front strut bar (supposedly a 93 (start) feature) and a
rear sway bar (which was deleted in the 93 model run - or was it?).  And
there are questions, like  "what build date (month/year) did the oil
pressure gauge disappear?"  I know this is all just trivia but it may be
important at some point.

What I am wondering is, if I set up a questionnaire based on build date
and original features (may be difficult with 2nd and 3rd owner cars) and
promised to make the results available to, say, Jimmy Pribble for
posting at UrS4.com, to compliment the features list that he has there,
would anybody be interested in responding?
