This doesn't sound right to me.  EDL should only be braking on 2 wheels max 
at a time (one on the front, one on the rear).    Some EDL systems can 
brake up to 3 wheels at a time (if one axle is spinning faster than the 
other, and one wheel on the slow axle is spinning faster than the other), 
but I don't think Audi had this in the S-Car's, it's usually not needed on 
a Torsen car .
(BTDT, have calibrated similar EDL on a torsen A4 before...)

Have you ever noticed weird ABS activity?  The first thing I would check 
are your wheel speed sensors!
