Just back from a 450 mile round trip to n fro chgo to bloomington, IN, in the A8; so I must say what incredible comfort n performance this cruiser provides for four people.  Effortlessly kept up with anything if I wanted to. 
It was my first extended trip in the a8 with the nav plus also, and being able to pinpoint your location on a map in realtime was a hoot, extemely useful and the integrated ipod provided uninterupted entertainment.  Even da bose sounds better thru the nav plus for some reason. (flame away;)
I mention this only for the benefit of S heads in the market for a second car cause used A8's are an incredible value IME.
