I send Igor the $0.02, but I'm going to wait till the
weather warms up before I go out to the car and take
a look at this ;-)
Seriously, though, all I can do is offer some suggestions
to check out. Another alternative to consider would be
to put the fuseholder block above the driver side footwell,
since you should have access there to the switched 12V
"circuit 15" from the ignition switch (black wire).
You would have to route the 5 wires from the fuses
into the engine compartment through a firewall grommet,
or through the "aux relay panel #1" under the hood.
Perhaps the easiest (but least elegant) solution would
be to put individual in-line fuseholders in each of the
wires under the hood. Preferably these would be of the
marine type to handle the exposure, and be placed away
from the heat of the exhaust system.
