Taka:

Things that I have noticed about using the breaker bar (especially with a 
cheater bar).

NEVER bounce the bar - use constant pressure - "bouncing" the bar will 
hasten failure.
the black axle gets "loose" prior to failure - a new bar seems to have some 
detents at 90 degree and 180 degree positions
