[s-cars] Tach signal, dyno tuning.

Oh ya and I have a wbo2 that I will be tapping into as well. The idea
is that if I can get it to work reasonably well, then when Mihnea comes
out to tune I could lend the system out so that we don't all spend a
huge amount of time on the dyno.

Subject: [s-cars] Tach signal

Is there a tach signal that can be reached and if so where and what is
it, I.E. frequency output or a linear voltage? On the ecu pin outs? At
worst I suspect it could be taken off of the back of the tach. If
someone was going to use an inductive clamp where to use it, since we
don't have any spark plug wires. Take it easy on me, I am not an EE, so
use small words please, thanks.

Right so why do I want this, well I have purchased a dynostar data
acquisition / 2axis accelerometer with gps, basically a road dyno. If I
can get the rpm then I can get torque.

I would also be interested in a wheel speed sensor that I could tap into
& tapping into the map sensor output.

If this all gets working it would be a pretty powerful system to use in
tuning chips for our cars.
