My 97 uses an 8 pin round DIN connector that is located on the *right*
side of the trunk. The changer is proprietary and is made by Alpine for
Audi (6 disc). Mine plugged in directly without the interface box. They
are NLA from Audi and ebay may be your only source. The S4s used the 10
disc Sony unit that requires an interface and they switched to the 6
disc sometime in 95 I think. Either way, the pieces are hard to find.
