Common failure on high mileage cars, Trevor.
The diff seal isn't a big job. The rear tranny seal is. You have to remove
the exhaust cat back, the driveshaft, and the tranny tailstock. You have to
press the stub shaft out of the tailstock bearing to get at the seal.

Subject: [s-cars] Transmission & Diff Seals
Just had differential & transmission fluid changed with redline stuff,
however 2 days later have noticed seepage from left rear driveshaft seal &
from seal at rear of transmission.
Are these common failure spots?
What's the repair time & cost?
Anything I should have replaced while exhaust is off?
Cheers
Trev.
PS, No I can't do a 6-speed :-)
