When i was 17 (only 20) I went on a ride with a rich kid in his old mans
brand new off the lot S8 before a volleyball fundraiser in the middle of the day.
No we were not drinking. He took off down a back road and got to about 100
before the stop sign. I had my seat belt firmly fassened by this point and
would of like to of gotten out, but i figured i could talk him out of going too
fast again. Well i guessed wrong, got to about 120 when we came to a sweeping
corner to the left. We were in the middle of the road when i car came down
the other lane, got too far to the right and caught some gravel with the rear
tire. Could see this happen as soon as i saw the other car. We shot across the
oncoming lane up an embankment and into the air sidways. The fireman said
they could barely touch the tops of the (luckily) small trees that we snapped.
Rolled through a giant mud puddle upside down with the sunroof open and got
soaked. Three of us all walked away with minor injury, no over night visits to
the e-room. Thank you audi for making a safe vehicle. I have pics of the
car, looks like somone tried to roll it up in cig paper. didn't get into audi
until i purchased my 4k almost a year ago and will never go to anything else.
Drive smart, and don't trust ur kids with a car that is too fast for them.
Currently watching Ronin.
