this is healthy conversation. I don't have $2K to throw at the problem and
am also looking at alternative solutions. no one's throwing stones here.
keep this dialog online. folks who want to ignore it will do so.

as you said, this may well be good enough. the sequential IC solution I've
seen may be good enough also. we all have audis but each of us has different
ideas on how to make them better. these may be based on technological
knowhow,
discretionary income or even religion. so be it. I'm not offended and hope
that no one else is.
Now if someone has plans for a bitchin' cardboard rear wing setup, I'm in!
