[s-cars] An interesting FMIC "fact" (?)

Oh I wouldn't say that it is the cheapest HP...but heck once you are
fully RS2'ed or beyond..it is the next step IMHO. This assumes that you
have done all the other goodies like suspension, brakes, etc.
IF you want 400+ HP I don't think you are going to be able to do it
w/o some larger/better flowing IC.

Ok Cody:
Let's B4B (tm - qshipq) that.
Step 1 below
5000USD = 50USD/hp
35% gain in HP
Step 2 below (installed) = 90-100USD/HP
8% gain in HP
At 8% gains, I'd be looking at alternative "theories" to spending
100USD/HP.
That's a lot of GP money for custom cams, better IM, TB, turbo dyno.
Without the 4 probes, who really knows?
I'm not at all claiming that better IC's are bad, we can look at the
measures/$ and see that IC's gains are minimal. I look at 8% gains at
100/hp and
think that will buy a whole bunch of high octane fuel, or a whole bunch
of
windshield washer fluid.

Frank Amoroso's Full RS2 Set-up (91 Octane):
-RS2 MAF
-RS2 Turbo
-RS2 injectors
-RS2 exhaust cam
-RS2 exhaust manifold
-Stromung no-cat exhaust
-TS tuning / Bob Pastore mix Eproms
-Stock IC: 292 whp
By just adding the ASW FMIC he was able to dyno 317 whp (Gain of 25 whp)
