[s-cars] An interesting FMIC "fact" (?)

Mike and Gary

Don't you just love the way Mike talks?

I do run a twin probe Davtron and as Mike has stated, we've data logged the
pressure delta on Mike's infamous and sooo fast Green Car. I believe those data
runs occured on a now infamous drive from Colorado Sprins to Evahboost with
my poor little Japanese all of 92 lbs soaking wet mother in the back seat. She
has since refused to speak to me but we figure that the cost of research does
involve sacrifice. The pressure delta was 2 psi. This was with Mike's Gen 1
FMIC which was a not quite Happersized 3.5"in depth vs my Gen 1's 4". The
supposition is that with my greater volume, I'd see a slightly lower delta.

As far as the temperature is concerned I cruise with a post I/C or out temp
of 1 degree above ambient. The Davtron allows you to switch between 3 temps;
In, out, and delta. I run with the out temp as my normal reference. On sustained
incline pulls up I-70 headed from Denver to Evahboost I typically register a
max out of 15 degrees above ambient. My recent spoiler upgrade has lowered
these numbers by 5 degrees. On my recent Sears Point track event, I registered a
max of 10 degrees above ambient. That's all the data I've got for a Saturday
morning.

Hap, now drained of data in Evahboost, Maguire
