[s-cars] ECU what is the trick to opening it

Agreed, Mihnea. MTM it is.

After the MOT S6 usually is the word "key" indicating that there is an
unscramble code key needed for the 512K chip. To think I use to supply
Roland about 30 unscramble boards a month. . . That was prior to the
MTM/Hoppen exclusive North American agreement.

Usually there is 264 PS.
I've not seen the 269 PS
Maybe this chip runs a little more detonation :)

The last is a date code
12.04.99
The 1 in the 12 is the European 1. Seven is crossed.

As to PS & HP. . . I think it went like this:
The S4/S6 came out of the plant at 230 PS and arrived here at 227 HP

That's definitely the MTM 1+ chipset. Strange that Hoppen rate it at
"280
honest HP" whereas MTM never rated it anywhere higher than 269. I guess
the
horses have grown more powerful during their over the pond journey or
something...

HTH,
