[s-cars] Hazards on turn signal... what does that mean?

After a 30 minute debugging session at the tire shop, I eventually figured
out they unlocked the car from the outside and tripped the alarm.  The car
wouldn't start.  After I got it going, now left and right hand turn signals
blink all four (2 front, 2 rear) flashers like the hazards.

What does that mean?  Is a relay bad?
