Steve,

A good leather shop should be able to sew in a new bolster cover. You will
need to remove the cover from the seat. I have a friend who had this done
to his ecru S6, and you can't tell unless you know what to look for. The
only reason I know is because I happened to remark to him that his bolster
was holding up well (180+k on his ride).

A little strange request... does anyone have an ecru seat skin that they
may just have sitting around after a seat/cover replacement job due to a bad
left side driver's seat bolster. The RIGHT side seat bolster on my '95 was
somehow pretty much trashed by the PO and needs replacement. Haven't
figured out how it occurred, but the rest of the seat is fine and the
bolster just has the finish pretty much scraped right off. The bolster
cushion itself seems fine. I figure a seat shop could cut and patch from
another skin that was trashed on the other side. Anyone got one, or have
any other ideas?

Thanks,

Steve
