Um, yes. Lots of noise, sounds terrible. Haven't seen any wear on mine in
the two years I've had them on.

(Hope the same is true for the aluminum U channels that also rub
occasionally)

Interesting story on the latter...we go over a couple of speed bumps at
Brandeis every weekend picking the kids up from Sunday school and I take it
really slow. If the car is loaded I bottom out anyway. My wife says I should
take the car in to my mechanic to see what's wrong. I haven't yet replied
that my mechanic was the one who installed the shorter springs for me :)
