[s-cars] Hood release - not

Hi Y'all,

I spent a considerable amount of time today working under the hood of my 
'95 S6.   Working, well if you insist, playing with VAG-COM and also 
replacing a burnt out headlight bulb.  I closed it up and went for a drive 
and then tried to pop the hood for another few minutes of play time.  The 
driver's side released but the passenger's side didn't.  I checked and 
lubed the system last week when I was in there for a while back then and 
fully expected everything to continue working like a charm.  Foolish 
expectation, eh?  :-(

I recall that it is supposed to be possible to reach up inside through the 
grill and pull the release cable with a needle-nosed 
pliers.  Yeah?  Right.  What's the trick?
