[s-cars] Remote Starter

If the remote starter system is designed AND INSTALLED properly, this should
not be a problem. On the Crimestopper unit I installed in my wife's car, there
is a lead from the brake light circuit--apply the brakes before inserting the
key and powering up the ignition, and the system kills the engine. In
addition, if the key-switched ignition circuit is not powered up within 12
minutes (programmable) the system kills the engine. Finally, on remote-start,
the system will lock all doors, if connected to the power-door lock system.
Granted, some cars may be particularly easy to hot-wire to power up the
ignition circuit, but then, if they really want your car, they're gonna get it.
