[s-cars] S8 vs A6 4.2 HP

I hope you gathered your information regarding the differences between the A6 4.2 and the S8 4.2.

Weighting a little more than 60 pounds over the A6, the S8's hp/wght ratio is very nice.

Do you own the A6? If not but are thinking about it then why not look into the 2.7t model. 
It is a couple of hundred pounds lighter and puts up 250hp. It is the exact engine found in the S4 and is capable of being easily tuned. For example; the APR chip for it is 599.00 and will net you 318 hp and 383 ft/lbs.

PS...I own an 2000 A4 1.8t with the APR chip only...what a lovely enhancement especially with the sport steering wheel that allows shifting on it...from the Boxster.
