My fellow s-heads,

if it were'nt for bad luck, I'd have no luck, as they say... I just got an
offer on my wives 94 S4 I was advertising, cool... All I had to do was take
a few additional pictures for the guy and figure out how to ship it... Got
home to find a big heavy metal door that was against a far wall was not
there anymore. According the the kids, "the wind must have blown it over"
and it smashed into the front passenger corner of the car. Nice....

Headlight is smashed. Nice creese in the fender and hood has some damage.
Called the ins co and it's NOT covered under my homeowners policy. If I had
taken a downpayment from the guy, they "might" have covered it since
technically it would be damage to someone elses car. WTF ?

Anywho, since I'll have to pick up the tab for this repair, I need to cheap
out. I can probably just replace the lens but was wondering if anyone out
there might have a good passenger side assy they want to sell ???

And speaking of picking up the cost since ins won't cover it. The 19 year
old just got in his second accident in two weeks (besides the one speeding
ticket) with his two week old 1995 Jetta. He'll (I'll) get hammered if I
file a claim so I'll be picking up that one too !!!

If every body of water weren't COMPLETELY frozen solid around here right
now, I'd be looking for a tall bridge.... 8-)

tom.

94 s4 (RS2'd but no start still)
94 s4 (needing a headlight and body work, boo-hoo)
94 100csq (thank God this thing won't die)
93 Sable (on it's last leg)
95 VW Jetta (was a nice car, two weeks ago...)
