[s-cars] Vibration

Rich,

I had the same problem with my '93 S4 for about 3 years. Took it to 6
different guys, including 2 dealerships and no one had answers. The
vibration was evident at around 23 mph and occurred whether or not I had the
clutch engaged - recently it had been getting a lot more violent and was
occurring at other random speeds. Over the past 3 years I have had a
variety of the joints/parts lubed, parts replaced and witnessed a whole lot
of head scratching. I had the driveshaft replaced 2 weeks ago. IT WORKED!
The car now drives like a dream and the price for the driveshaft just went
down ~$200-300.

Cheers,
Chris
