[s-cars] minor cooling problem and question

My channel 51 reading fluctuates between 89 and 91, pretty reliably, almost
regardless of outside temps. Almost. More of an effect is airflow, i. e.
stop-and-go will push it up, cruising freely will push it down. HTH.

So after the new radiator, my cruising temperature, on the HVAC code 51
check is now slightly lower. Previously rock solid 86 degrees is now
hovering about 81, only reaching 86 or more standing in traffic. Mechanic
said he did not replace the thermostat, so the correct one should be in
there. Other than the t-stat not functioning properly (not closing
completely), is there any thing else to check before another t-stat.
