I haven't seen anyone reply to your post so I'll give it a stab. It sounds 
like you've hit the infamous   max airflow through the MAF cut-out with your TAP 
chip. This can be reset by turning your ignition off then back on. You need 
to back off the boost. Get a new chip from a more reputable source and it will 
have the programming to allow more boost without the cut-out. HTH.
