Mike and Ray,
Thanks for the great info. I'll take some pics of the brakes when she's in
the garage...
Regards, Ed

Subject: RE: [s-cars] AP 4 piston calipers for URS
FWIW I had a set of AP Racing 4 Pot calipers put on the car by the prior
owner.
They were set up to use 330 x 28mm Coleman rotor on custom hubs supplied by
KVR Performance in Canada. I had a second set of hubs (by KVR) and a brake
bracket (local) made up to allow the use of Coleman 28mm x 315 rotors to fit
inside 16" rims. The 330mm rotors are minimum 17"rim only items. I used
the AP's for @ a year or so, no real strong emotions, or opinion one way or
the other of one vs. the other. The calipers seemed to work fine with both
the 330 as well as the 315mm diameter rotors. Sorry, I've no idea of the
part #'s or official designation of the caliper.
Terry at KVR was a pleasure to deal with,

Last, hasn't AP Racing been acquired by Brembo? I wonder how much
difference remains between AP's design/technoloogy and that provided by
equivalent Brembo calipers.
