Does anyone know if this shift knob:

Will work on the S-car?  My 97 has a leather, dumb shaped shift knob.  
I'd prefer to have just a knob.  Nothing else, a knob.  This VW walnut 
burl should match the interior and it has no shape.  It has Reverse in 
the proper location and is 5-speed.

In addition, are there any short shifter kits available for the stock 
5-speed?  What of Frank's lead kit?
